Corporate and team days
Team building in Crawley with a climbing challenge
Problem solving, trust and a bit of friendly competition, for teams of every ability. No climbing experience needed.
Most team days ask people to sit and listen. A climbing session gets everyone moving, talking and cheering each other on. Our walls look like giant, brightly coloured games, each needing a different skill, so the person who tops one challenge may need help on the next. That mix of encouragement and friendly rivalry is what makes it work for teams.
Everyone climbs on an auto-belay, so nobody needs to hold a rope or know any knots, and nobody is stuck waiting for a partner. People who'd rather not climb can still take part by encouraging, timing and keeping score.

- Long hair must be tied back, and jewellery, hats and hooded tops removed before climbing.
- Climbers must weigh between 15kg and 150kg.
- Our ground floor is wheelchair friendly. Call us before your visit to talk through any access needs.
- Free lockers and cubbies are available for coats and small bags.
Why it works
What teams get out of a climbing session
- A level playing field. Climbing is new to most people, so job titles don't matter and everyone starts from the same place.
- Encouragement comes naturally. People cheer each other on, swap tips on the trickier walls and celebrate when someone reaches the top.
- Something to talk about afterwards. A shared challenge gives a team stories and in-jokes that last well beyond the day.
